Privacy policy

Last updated 19 August 2026

Pineaccord Unipessoal Lda ("we") is the controller of the personal data described here. This page explains what we collect on this website, why, on what legal basis, and what your rights are under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Portuguese law.

Who we are

Pineaccord Unipessoal Lda, a company registered in Portugal [registration number and registered address to be added]. Contact for privacy matters: hello@pineaccord.com.

What we collect

This website is a brochure site. We collect very little:

  • Contact data you send us by email (your name, address, the content of your message), used only to answer you and to run a possible engagement.
  • Technical data needed to serve the site: IP address, user agent and request logs, processed by our hosting provider for security and delivery.
  • With your consent only: aggregate analytics about how the site is used (pages, referrers, device class). No analytics run before you accept them in the cookie banner.

Why and on what basis

  • To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal: performance of pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To keep the site secure and available: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Analytics: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time in the cookie settings.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries: for the duration of our conversation and up to 24 months afterwards, unless a contract follows.
  • Server logs: as retained by our hosting provider for security purposes [typically up to 30 days].
  • Analytics: aggregated and kept for [up to 14 months].

Who else sees it

We do not sell personal data. Processors acting on our instructions may include our hosting/CDN provider [Cloudflare], our email provider [to be added] and, if you consent, an analytics provider [to be added]. Where a processor is outside the EEA, transfers rely on the European Commission adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, to receive it in a portable format, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting what happened before.

Write to hello@pineaccord.com. You may also complain to the Portuguese supervisory authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), or to the authority of your own EU country.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above. Material changes will be announced on this page.
